Make heard the depth of your despair and the
breaking of your heart. For what remains unspoken
can never burst into healing song." - Molly Fumia

His legacy
The Lee Welker Memorial Annual Music Scholarship

A music scholarship was established at Lee's college, Appalachian State University, Boone, NC in early 2005.

Hopefully, through your donations, various benefits and the sale of Lee’s CDs, the fund will be able to help MUSIC students at Appalachian for a long time!  (Please consider donating to Lee's fund when your company does its annual fund-giving.)

North Carolina Eye Bank Donor

Lee was a cornea donor. Because of him, two people are now gifted with sight.  Lee was a kind, loving and giving person.  He would be happy we had helped him give this extraordinary gift.
